Drivers Side Carpet Soaking Wet

Originally she just took the floor mats out which were wet thinking that she spilled something but after a couple of days she said that now the carpet is wet.

Drivers side carpet soaking wet.

I did some research and have found almost nothing save for a few threads on firewall grommets and the hood release cable hole regarding this condition. After driving a couple days in rain i discovered the driver 8217 s side floor pan carpet is soaking wet. My carpet stays soaking wet on the passenger side front floor board and now i am having electrical problems drivers seat does not move forward and backwards head lights flash off and on when in auto mode and now heat quite working. For the last 2 weeks it had been getting very wet windows inside the condensation was so bad it. At the weekend i discovered that the drivers side footwell both front and back in my 58 plate titanium fiesta were soaking wet. Any one else have this. When standing in the back footwell i had a puddle surround my foot.

Lucky me i just got station to nm so no rain will be coming my way. My windshield is leaking and does cause my driver side carpet to be wet. She has no sunroof so i ruled out a sunroof drain leak. After it rains my carpet on the driver side gets wet.

Wondering if it has to do with water problem that we still have not been able to locate where it is coming from. Any help would be much appreciated thanks biggrin. I don t think it s the heater coil or a c system because the driver s side and passenger s side carpets are wet. Quite a lot of water is there.
