Dometic has identified 27 098 affected units and started replacing units with new awning motor kits even before the official recall notice was issued. The motor in my dometic 9100 awning quit working it just clicks when the button is pushed either way. This dometic recall involves certain two door refrigerator model and serial numbers manufactured between april 1997 through september 2006. The motor that was replaced by the recall is 3310423 137b. The company has advised its oems and aftermarket dealers to call a toll free number at 888 943 4905 for specific replacement instructions.
