Most homes built after the 1980s no longer use siding that contains asbestos because of its obvious health risks.
The presence of asbestos cement siding in and of itself is not a serious drawback.
The presence of asbestos cement siding should not necessarily be viewed as a serious problem.
But this stuff was somewhat removed to put on the entryway which i was told was done way before the former owner ever moved in.

Asbestos was not an ingredient in masonite hardboard products.
The siding may also contain asbestos if it is old with a wood grain texture to resemble cedar.
Although homes built after the 1980s are generally safe some newer builds may also have asbestos lurking in the siding.
